I didn't smoke anything during pregnancy--and wouldn't have dreamed of doing so even if I'd wanted to. Cigarettes contribute to low birth weight and other health problems like a propensity toward asthma, and there's just not enough proof that mj is beneficial to risk it. Of the three babies I've ever known of born to mothers who got high during pregnancy, two of those kids were developmentally delayed, and the other has hyperactivity but seems of normal intelligence.

I'm curious why you'd even be considering doing something that might remotely harm an unborn baby. In the scheme of things, 40 smoke-free weeks isn't a huge sacrifice for a healthy child, is it?
