higher kelvin for veg (cooler color), lower kelvin for flower (warmer color).

gotcha. i just went and got a few 42W warm color cfls.

Here is my 2 cents on that anyway:
The way my config was set up, i had a 4 cool and 4 warm cfls in my box. My one plant towards the back of the box mainly had the warm lights around and the cool lights were more towards the front. The plant in the back was much fuller than the ones in the front. Do you think that is why the one in the back is fuller?
Either way, i switched them around with the new lights so there are only 2 cool color lights and the warm color ones are more spread out.

Have you over fed a tad bit?

Are you PHing your water?

If MAY... : ) ... you should consider seperating those lights and lowering some of them (side lighting)..

I did over feed once...that won't happen again ( i hope).
I haven't been testing the PH, but i am using brita water I know, i need to test it.

Also i have thought about seperating those lights...but I don't really have a plan on how. Maybe i will just add a few lights at the bottom with a little desk lamp type thing.

sooner the better regarding the lights... THIS will have a DIRECT and DRAMATIC effect on your yield!!
