ok so i was using a flat iron hair straightener, and i put some spray in my hair and some got in the straighters wire and it blew upp. but my parents think its because i forgot to turn it off and they think im really irresponsible. im supposed to be going to chicago with a bunch of friends next week and they are threatening to cancel the trip!!!! i cleaned my room really well and put some checklists on my door (saying turn light off, turn straightener off, make bed, stuff like that). any ideas on what i can do that would be responsible because ive been waiting for this trip for a year now.. any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

what a stupid thing to freak out about.
The above post is fictional and should in no way be taken as truth.
If I were to grow cannabis, I would only do so to supply myself and my close friends. Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.

yeah they are assholes, but it was because i always forget to turn it off and their afraid im gonna burn the house down, because they always tell me to turn it off. and its also other stupid little stuff, like cleaning my room, talking back once in a while. i guess it just all built up and they freaked out. yeah our maids do the dishes, so thats not gonna work. and i cant do any other chore like things cuz we hire ppl to do those for us.
