Hawk's First Grow
Hey all them fellow growers.... Hawk here to tell you about my first grow so far.
First i finally got enough time to prep my site (its kickass IMO) and it has a decent water souce nearby(emergency only?), plenty of light (due to cutting down 3 small saplings), and it gets a good amount of water.
Here in MA it has been raining constantly everyday for the past week. Perfect for the seedlings no?
Anyways i used 2 bags of potting soil. 1 bag i am unsure the brand (it was fully organic) but the second bag i used miracle grow ORGANINC.
Next i threw in damn near a whole bag of perlite all mixed in.
Also there is some natural soil that i mixed in very little of since its heavy clay based. But comes from the woods so has plenty of good healthy food in it.
Also i threw in very sparingly about 1/2 cup of 10-10-10 NPK which seems to be a perfect mix.
I left my patch after planting about 20 seeds to come back to about 10 fully healthy little ones about 1-3 inches tall (more may sprout) and it was only 5 days not a week. (PICS SOON)
I would like to give a shout out to all the board people since i cant pick out spicifics i got alot of info here.
Thanks again and i will note my progress as i go along.
Peace and Unity, Much respect:thumbsup:
Hawk.
P.S. What is the best way to protect your crop from small animals. I doubt bugs will be much of a issue there. I think i may go for a chicken wire fence but i donno.SilentHawk36 Reviewed by SilentHawk36 on . Hawk's First Grow Hey all them fellow growers.... Hawk here to tell you about my first grow so far.
