air stone used for reservoir g/b?
i have a reservoir that i use to feed my plant. Its a 5 gallon bucket and i use about 2 gal every feed. I use air stone and air pump to air the water mixed with nutes. Is this good? can anything bad happen? (i also notice that the water seem to be more dirty. I don't know why. Before i could see the air stone clearly, but now i can't see it so well)

oh i forgot to add that i'm going to use an water pump, hose, and nozzle to feed plant because i think it would be really hard to feed 6 plant under scrog if you can't lift the bucket.
will the water pump be damage if water is at hault by the nozzle?29.And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

I've got a reservoir like that! The air pump/stone is a good thing! It produces oxygen for your plants roots to absorb!Do you have your reservoir,in the light? Or the dark! Is it a clear bucket,or what? Algae will build up in the bucket if exposed to light. It could be that. The airstone is just stirring it up! Do you have the pump on a timer?I would run the airstone 24/7.Put them on a drip system.1 emitter per pot.It has a setting on the emitter, for 1/2 or a gal/hr.

mines is expose to the light. i put a net over it so little bugs such as ants can't get in. I will cover it as soon as i get the water pump and nozzle. all these time i thought dirt was sucked in by the air pump and flowed through to the air stone, then to the water. I'm doing a manual feed. I just think that using the water pump attach to nozzle will be much easyer to feed in scrog instead of pouring cup after cup.

Take some 1/2 tubing, put some type of nipple protruding out of a lid from a gallon milk,or water jug! I recommend the water jug!Attach the hose to the top after you screw the lid on.Tape the hose to something like a stick or a wooden dowel, tilt the jug and water as far away as you want!

2 1/2 gal is good enough to feed my plants for now cause they are in a 2 gal bucket. i'm pretty sure i'm gonna use around 4-5gal for a 5 gal bucket. i have 6 plants.
