Anti detection foil Vs the police
ok so this might sound abit weird but i felt guilty coming on here and telling people that i am gunna start growing, ya know 'the less you know the less the old bill know' but i needed 2 ask a major question, does ADF really work? ive seen it around on many websites, and ive gotta say it is majorily expensive (around £5 psm) but there are many people that say the police infra-red cameras can see through it, and that the police don't necessarily look for where the lights are, but where the heat is escaping from (vents, fans , filters etc)
so if some1 cud shed some light upon this subject, then it wud put my mind at ease, thanks for the read and happy toking

actually even i can correct you on that one, adf and mylar are completely different, mylar is used 2 reflected light back onto the plant for maximum reflection, just like tin foil.

I don't know about ADF, but there is a reflective sheeting called Mylar which as far as I Know can't be detected. The reason for this is heat ( most of which comes from the lights) is reflected back into your grow space so when the boys are up there in the choppers they have a heat sensor( just like the thing in predator) and can see all the heat sources in your home. Mylar prevents this.

weither it is reflected or not, there will still be a heat signature, the heat doesnt just magically disappear because it is reflected....
