What about when I re-pot.... buring the stems some to take the leggy-ness out of the bottom. Would the stem rot?

??????

i dont understand..?
I believe that redman71 was asking about re-potting his plant and whether or not it's safe to put the plant deeper into the new pot so you can cover up the bottom part of the stem with new soil. He wants to know if you cover previously exposed stem with new moist soil will the stem rot.

I think...

And I heard that it did not hurt. I definitely did it to my plants when I repotted them. They may have their problems, but I don't think that was one of them

In the beginning I was doing it all wrong, Miracle grow plant food 20-20-20 when watering, miracle grow soil, not enough light, clipping dead leaves, you name it, and I was F-n' it up. Well after much research (This wonderul site, and the book "Indoor Marijuana Horticulture, George Cervantes) I set up a closet with 7 flourecent lights from all sides in a white closet. 18/6 on/off light schedule. I started watering with my aquarium water at a PH of 6.8 and things have changed for the better. Rating: 5
