Although this subject is a bit touchy for me (my sexuality has come into question quite a bit these days), I think I have discovered a way to be open with myself and defend my sexuality (preference) at the same time. Do I have a "type?" No. Simply because another male is attractive or aesthetically pleasing does not mean that you are bi-curious. There are obvious indications of beauty, like full lips and/or a symmetrical face. Now, I cannot be deemed bi-curious just because I recognize beauty. As for the thread, Johnny Depp is an attractive guy, so is Robert Plant & Jimmy Page-Hell! Led Zeppelin was a band of good looking guys. Then I think to myself: How can I be a judge of beauty? Beauty is relative to the observer, so how can I personally recognize pulchritude in another male, unless I were self-conscious of my own appearance; indulgent to vanity?-Well, I am very concerned for my vanity. And I recognize an attractive male just as well as a woman could. Who knows why? Maybe I am a little gay? Would I take a cock in the ass or give one for that matter? Who knows? I have never tried it before! I'm not particularly interested to the point of overcoming indifference but I could imagine why gay men enjoy butt-sex.

I can't stop laughing at reading this whole thread. No offense seriously. I was part of a gay rights group in high school for a little bit that was partly run by my ex gf, i'm completely straight though.

to be honest with all of you im a chick and i love females.. and for guys to love each other and have sexual feelings i think is awesome.. kudos to the people here being them selfs and having no shame in who they are,.. we need more of you like that in the world.. and plus i think gay guys can be the best of friends, i have a couple and i love them dearly and wouldn't trade anything in the world for their friendship, without them and their talks and support, i wouldn't be here now..

It's pretty much the concensus among the psychology/psychiatry community, that having a gay experience does not make you a gay person. Many guys, and girls, experiment with friends of the same sex just because they want to know what it's like.
Keep in mind too, society conditions us to be "strait" or "gay". Just think of the ancient Romans or Greeks, they were totally casual about it and strait married men occasionally had sex with other men, just to do something different for the night. The whole taboo put on the subject is pretty arbitrary, it just doesn't really matter.
Personally, I've never had a gay experience, don't feel the need to. Albeit I'm a 22 year old virgin and still have that primal urge to have sex with a girl already, so first thing's first. If I suddenly did feel attracted to a guy, wanted to try it, then what the hell I'd go right ahead. I don't think I'd have any conflict about "am I gay? Am I bi? Am I just curious", I'd just fuckin' do it and find out. But thus far, cocks are a 100% turnoff.
