I have been smoking for a while now but this new stuff is realy dark and sticky. I mean it it quite difficult to get it out my grinder it is so sticky is this stuff better or is it just a different strain.

If its sticky it just means the THC hasnt been cured, or is still soft.

Damn, LIP beat me to it. Two things if its sticky - either its VERY good, or it hasnt been dried/cured properly. Ive had sticky bud before that was bloody excellent (gave me couchlock for a good few hours from just a few tokes) and I attempted to dry it for 48 hours to see if it hadnt been dried. Lo and behold, it was still sticky as anything, so I guess I got lucky that time.

An easy way to tell if the herb is sticky because its not dry is just to smoke a little - pure - in a small spliff or pipe. A spliff is the best test for this, as some people find that bowls always go out no matter how dry the herb is. Just make a small pinner (personally, I always do this when I get a sack just to test how strong it is), and if it stays lit, then its naturally sticky and not wet. If its still wet, dont worry, you didnt buy 'bunk' bud. Let the spliff go out and leave it in a small cardboard box for a few days in a dark, cool place and with some ventilation (DO NOT BLOW A FAN ON IT THOUGH). Check it in a couple of days and it should be fine. You will probably need to poke it down though, as bud shrinks when it dries. The rest of the bud, stick in another cardboard box in a cool, dark place and leave for a few days. Its best to hang it up with string so it dries evenly. Youll be left with a lot less than you had before, but when bud dries, the THC transforms from its crude acidic form to its psychoactive form.
So, if you smoke wet weed, you wont get high at all
