The Man says, "Weed is stronger now," as if it's a bad thing

As I grew up I learned that weed today is much stronger now than it was 30 years ago. I've always been told this is a reason to stay away from it, but I was never told why. For a while I have been advocating that weed today is better for you because THC doesn't cause tissue damage, even in high concentrations, and so the user has to smoke less to get high therefore inhaling far less carcinogens than our parents did. Today the Daily Factiod reads, "Stronger the cannabis (the more THC-9), the less a user smokes to get high, thereby inhaling less of the harmful compounds formed when any vegetation burns." I saw that and I was like, "HELL YEAH! THAT'S WHAT I SAY!"

OK so then what the fuck, why does fucking john walters and all his bitches tell us that its wworse for us because its stronger? has anybody even been told WHY its worse when its stronger? recently, some politician in alaska asked that it be proved if pot is stronger now than it was, and thats good because i know and im sure you know that that statement was made after a botched test with moldy weed, but why isnt anybody exploiting the fact that weeds being stronger is good for you? or are they and am i just missing it?

That "fact" is often used by health teachers to combat the fact that all those toking hippies in the 60s are still doing fine today. The only problem is that it's not true.

If someone doesnt support the "legalise cannabis cause" then they will make up any lie to sound big and professional. They have no idea what they're talking about. Everything they say is wrong, or a lie. Normally its a wrong lie.

The government are jokes, they have no idea how to run a country, they lost the war against drugs before it began.

I've heard that each new crop from recycled seeds is a little stronger than the last. If I get a strong bag of weed,I simply smoke less in a session.Have one cone and see what you think, have two cones and see if you can think.

I remember something on this subject that I either read or saw on tv. One of the main reasons that they determined this was because of old samples that they used for a comparison from the 60's/70's......it was stored wrong and lost all it's bang.

AND!! also they don't even grade weed, so they could've just tested some dirt from 67 or whatever, and It wouldn't stack up to anything better than dirt, rightt???

Letâ??s say for the sake of argument that marijuana today IS strongerâ?¦ does that all of a sudden make it dangerous where it previously was not? Are there more adverse side effects from being stoned instead of just high?

Well, sociolgically yes. Being super baked is a little "worse" for you. But all of this is considered when you abuse it. If you're stoned out of your mind all the time you're gonna be a little worse off.
