House plants
Ok this is a little side project to my out door crop.
This is the first time I have tried this way of growing.
I have two plants a week into life I set them on the east
side of my house at window level in mornings or before
I go to bed and on a west facing window in the afternoon.
They seem to be doing grate for a week this is how i started
all my plants that went outside and i just got to thinking
a couple of weeks ago "why not." I plan on trying this out
till harvest on these two little plants and see what comes
of it.
I will try and keep you posted on the plants progression.
My plants outside are doing grate by the way if i had a digi
cam i would post some pics but i don't, if i cannot get pics of
my plants outside before harvest I will post pics of the harvest.yabatab Reviewed by yabatab on . House plants Ok this is a little side project to my out door crop. don't use clear cups.. light will mix with your moist/soil and things will grow in your container.. next thng you know, you r plants will look like you as a baby..

I try to give seedlings only as much water as they can use in half a day, and water them only when they are DRY but before they show stress to avoid fungus.
The visiblity also allows me to see when the first roots hit the sides of the container, and when it is time to transplant.
Keeping the medium fairly dry has improved my seedling survival rate drastically. I haven't seen pythium in a long time.
I understand about the concerns with 'light poisoning' of the roots, and the possibility of algae growing. Haven't seen algae, it's really too dry.
