You'll want enough room to be able to train and tie the branches, and enough room to get in to water the plant

Like 8 to 12 inches is what i always hear.

depends on how much head room you have. I had 6 in a c-13 that had the screen at 24" and the plants finished up at 40" tall under a 400w hid light.

I assume you are growing from clones and you know the sex then?

8 inches is a common number, and the hgt. of mine.

I love a good scrog! You put the screen at about8-10 inches above the pots.I used the wire with the round holes! You can use whatever ya want to,I've used string! Just make a grid out of the string.It can be adjusted as to hold the bud site intact!It's a bit more gentle on the stems as they get taller! Which they will!Zandor's shot up to 40 inches! That bout how tall mine are now!
