I've been caught a few times, but cops around here in brooklyn are pretty leniant for the most part.

If a cop catches you here, he usually takes it for himself and tells you to go home. Everyone freely smokes blunts and joints on my block all the time. In fact, if I were to look out the window right now, I could see pot being smoked. Posession and use is generally tolerated, as long as you are around your house, but the cops are only looking out for the dealers who are fliping ounces or more, and of course the crack houses that are scattered about the city.

The first time I was in a circle of peeps and the cop tried to bust me for pot on the ground in front of me,I beat it in court... The other time I was walking and doing a doob when a cop stopped and frisked me and found a nickle bag... I went to court and got a section29 "guilty of first offense but,no record filed and no sentence/fine"...
