Another of my awful diagrams
A while back, I had a BAD problem with flying pests (whiteflies, thrips).
The plants got eaten pretty badly and lost many of their lower leaves. I had to leave them in veg a little longer to recover, I didn't want to pinch them and stress them further, and they gained more height than I usually like to see.
The new growth is fine, but I'm left with a bunch of lanky plants.
I'm trying to encourage better side shoot development without tying down.
I use simple batwing-type reflectors, and set up my 2 400's at the sides of the grow area and chained the inner edge of the reflector so it shines at an angle, towards the middle.
The plants are spaced apart and arranged so they shade each other as little as possible.
Secondary growth and bud development are good.
Just an idea for all you people with formerly-sick plants!stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . That's one of the best diagrams ive ever seen.

Heya safer's soap used aggresively can eliminate those fuckers fast, just remember, get the soil too cause they hide in there. A lot of the white flies will be in there chillin until u disturb.

I like the happy flowers in the diagram. That setup should work ok, I'd still rotate the happy flowers around the area because the ones in the middle will get mixed strength light and they'll be happier if you switch positions for them.

I do use Safer soap, and neem, and sticky traps, and I just added nematodes to my pest control program.
I hate those flying shits. They are still in evidence, but not really causing any significant damage.
