Wet weed and drying
I got hold of a literally fresh off the plant 11g the other day and after some drying it now weighs 3g.
I can't believe how much moisture was a part of it, 8g to be precise. Anyone else had anything like this happen?

Well that life. The wieght of water in fresh but is normally about 75%.
I hope you didnt pay for the 11 grams. Also fresh but will taste planty. If you want a good taste and smell it has to be cured, this also activates the THC and cannabinoids as freshly harvested cannabis contains little active THC.

The weed I just bought is particularly wet also. How do you "cure" your weed? Just hang it up or leave it in the open?

Well, you let it dry out in the open, but in the dark for about a week.
You then put the dry bud into a sealed container with a small bit of green vegetation, some people use a bit of orange peel so you have some moiture in there.
Then you seal it and open it for about an hour everday for about a month.
This breaks down the chemicals in the plant, make it taste like weed should and it activates the cannabinoids and THC molecules.

Wet weed and drying
What's up? I just found these forums and I gotta say that it's beautiful thing to see so many stoners unite! Here's my diemma:
My friend just got some herb. It was cured properly, is still in bud-form and was not compacted into brick. However, the beatiful greenery got WET and some of it is turning brownish. Can this be salvaged? If so how? Is it completely ruined? Should I even bother w/it? Some of it has dried and I'm gonna sample it later. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
