Water heaters and CO2?
OK so my new house has the water heater indoors.
Near where the ac sucks air in to cool it off.
My question is.
Do you guys think the CO2 will be carried into the other rooms?
VIA ac vent.
Into the growroom most importantly.Jdog7000 Reviewed by Jdog7000 on . Water heaters and CO2? OK so my new house has the water heater indoors. Near where the ac sucks air in to cool it off. Water heaters and CO2?
if your home inspector didn't find a problem, it's probably up to code. Plus plain old CO (monoxide carbon) is much more prevelant and much more dangerous by-product of combustion, get yourself a CO detector ($30
) and chill. As for the level in your grow room (and others), it may be higher, but more than likely not.

Water heaters and CO2?
I'm not worried about me breathing it.
I was just wondering if you guys thought that the extra co2 produced would help the plants a little at least. lol
I can't afford a co2 meter right now.
But I'll get one when I get a co2 generator in a few months.

Water heaters and CO2?
co2 is not in the heat exhaust. It's a by-product of a blue flame and will fall down fom the flame. It will not rise out of the top of the WH.
Sorry dude, call me you can borrow one of mine until i need it again.

Water heaters and CO2?
Zandor, jdog! It can be caught and used in the grow room! All ya gotta do is get some flex ducting like for a dryer vent! Since it is way heavier than oxygen or carbon monoxide, put a small muffin fan inline away from the heater and put the end of the flex at the base of the heater. It will be caught in the draw of the muffin fan and taken into the growroom. Not sure though how you could possibly monitor such a use! But,Hey! It'll work!
