SO...you live in the slums? Need some A/C? Can't afford it?

Someone on another forum tried it and said it worked like a dream. It looks like crap, but a hell of alot cheaper than spending $300, $400 on an A/C unit.Big Calhoun Reviewed by Big Calhoun on . Man, that's ghetto. I wouldn't want all those copper wires 'n shit wrapped around my fan. How would I escape the heat without my fan?

I'm not a physics major but it seems like the principle is that the water would flow behind the fan and as it's being warmed, it'll cool the air around it. You leave the tubing in the back in order to take that cooled air and cycle it around your room. The concept works...but yeah, try explaining that to a date..."What the HELL is that?!?!?"

nah, we made an AC with 1 four bladed airplane proppellor that is about 2 feet big, for a single person open cockpit, whatever, a GE electric motor, a little bigger than 1 foot, plugged into a 220v outlet, and 1 55 gallon drum heat sinks in a beach cooler with copper pipe the size of my leg running through it with our air that comes in through the family room "hole in the wall"
i love my house

couldn't you just get a submersible pump and force the water through the copper and then back into the trashcan?

good job.
put a lid on the garbage can
put one cup of 100 proof vodka for every 10 gallons of water to kill bacteria.
