Ok,.... The time before Noah is, what we refer to - as a different dispensation.
During this time demons were very active on the earth and "hook'n up" with the "chicks" so to speak. The offspring, that came out of the "hook up". were called "the nephilim".

I won't go into some of the practices of the people, it's really quite sick, especially what they did to their young. I was under the impression that the "Nephilim" were the children of angels. In a documentary about Angels I recently saw on the History channel they mentioned that one such son of an Angel lived to be something like 360 something, and he was a good man. God told the Angels he was going to flood the earth because of their rampant sex with human women resulting in the "Nephilim" children. The angels asked that one Nephilim who was 360 something to plead their case to God. Apparently The Nephilim went to heaven but lost his argument on the angels behalf. Thus the flood.
