Hey there friends and strangers. Its been a while.
Ive been walking my path and it has led me back here again.
Ron/ respected MODs forgive me, and correct me, if I am posting this is an inappropriate place.
I wish reach out my hand and my arms to those in our community in search of some spiritual direction and physical/emotional/spiritual healing.
Most specifically I am reaching out to those in our community who are suffering from a terminal illness.
I live on several lovingly cared for acres that has been dedicated as a meeting place for people seeking healing and direction on their path.
We offer a serene place to retreat to for body and soul healing.
We are essentially a native spiritual meeting place where we hold ceremony and sweat lodges in native american tradition but we also offer common sense counselling to help guide travellers and seekers on their path, and eastern healing such as Usui Reiki,Karuna Reiki, and various energy healing. We also have specific training in hospice and end of life care as well as skills to aide in the transition.
I have been discussing medical marijuana issues with the wonderful people here and talking about how we could help people in the community who are suffering the most.
What we have decided to do is to open our arms and our doors and invite souls who are in need to come to this place experience healing.
We offer a place for terminal 'patients' to come in search of healing to ease symptoms and to prepare the soul for the journey ahead.
It is very difficult for me to try to put this into words here in type without sounding like a commercial. Those of you who know me know of my sincerity but those who do not have no reason to distinguish me from anyone else plugging a business.
We have sat, moved to tears at the thought of being able to help people in this situation. I invite you to ask anything so that you might better understand what it is we are offering . I also invite you to research the terms " usui reiki" and "karuna reiki" "sweat lodge", and "renewal dance" to see what others have to say about these wonderful experiences in healing/guidance.
Perhaps I could have sat and composed a better post to accurately describe what we offer but to be honest I was just too excited at the prospect of being able to help in this way that I had to get the dialogue started.
We are located in southern Ontario, Canada. We also have some ties with similar places in other parts of canada and the US but we are accustomed to people travelling here for what we offer.
We have no web site, no big advertising budget, or anything else equally irrelevant. What we have is love, intent, and dedication to the healing of our fellow man and our earth through sharing this love.
That said, Ill try to answer any questions you may have to the best of my ability.

You sound like you do a great job man. This has really got me. You must do a good job. Makes me think how truely lucky i am. I take life for granted, and i know i shouldnt, but its not untill you read something moving like this that you realise.

Hi LIP. Well, actually its not my job. I do work elsewhere. This place is more of a passion for me. It is my family's home and passion.
My purpose on this planet is to help people and here I get that opportunity. I find it more fulfilling than anything I have ever done.
When you can truly connect with a person's soul there is nothing like it.
It is life, it is love. It is wonderful beyond words.
I am reaching out to anyone who feels that their path leads them to what we offer. I only touched on a few things we do here because I want to reach out with sincerity to people in the medical marijuana community to offer what we can to help them live with less pain,more love and a wider understanding of their place in this great web of life, and for those who are terminal to pass over with strength courage and love.

Im struggling not to sound commercial. We are so far from that vibe.
We dont do this for what we get but rather for what we can give.

I agree wholely with your comment about taking life for granted. I am guilty of doing that from time to time. Some of you know of my situation and can agree Im guilty But, that realisation is like the alarm clock that wakens us into a new day. Enjoy the day LIP.

Good job FM. You sound like you have confidence in direction and self-lessness to help others.

I know of Reiki. A woman in my extended family has used reiki on me a few times. She has had much time in sweat lodges.

I was always amazed at how different she looked when coming back from a weekend in the mountains and being with a group in a sweat lodge.

I notice you are from Japan. That is where Usui Reiki was first learned and shared with the people. It has made its way around the world healing and nurturing many people in many cultures.
I was introduced by my mother who is a Reiki Master in both Usui and Karuna disciplines. I obtained my attunement through her.
I was attuned at a time when I was only beginning to open my eyes to this type of healing. What an eye opener!


You mentioned how different people look after emerging from the sweat lodge. The changes you see from outside are only a small hint at the changes that have occurred and continue within.
It is essentially a rebirth. When I emerge I am filled with an amazing deep feeling of calm, and confidance that I am loved and cherished and will be provided for by the great spirit. I walk my path with renewed determination and guidance and leave behind the things that confuse and hinder me. Words alone cannot describe the feeling.
It is like being love, being light. Amazing.

Our elder has been admitted to the hospital with an undetermined illness.
Tests have all come back inconclusive.
Amazing in this day and age of technology. Science doesnt hold the answers for everything. It is science keeping him alive right now but not getting him healed.
He is getting healing sent from other sources since they cannot offer any to him themselves.
They can house, monitor and test.
We will fill in the void with prayer and faith.
The future is not ours to know or to control...only today is ours.
And today I ask for your prayers for healing and understanding and continued courage to face the unknown that tomorrow holds for us all.
