I knew someone in the navy who got in the Navy without even a GED.

I know for a fact that the Navy allows people to begin boot camp the day they turn 17...

they just needed a signed waiver from the "legal" guardian if under 18 years old.

I got five years in the military....just fifteen more and I am retired...not to mention the extra cash when civilian retirement roles around..$$$ kickin it at my fav vacation local....maybe amsterdam....

VERY DEPRESSING stuff if you ask me

I knew a one year younger, adopted, high school goalie from my local water polo team who shot himself shortly after high school....

He was dyslexic (or however you spell it)

He was smarter than alot of people in many ways though.

He might have been depressed from losing his senior year's CIF division 3 championship final game in sudden death overtime.

All his teamates including himself practiced about 4 hours a day.. 530am-700am and 330pm until 5pm

That's tough to hear that he took his own life, but I doubt it was over a game. No game should do that, and I'm guessing it was a combination of a lot more serious problems.

Anyways, I sat on my ass, high as hell in the Mac lab all day and got most of my work done before my shortened summer begins, so that was good. Got really high and came home and watched a great game b/t France and Spain, then went to work which actually flew by for once. Really not that great of a day, but I know this weekend will be crazy, so that's something to look forward to.

baisez le, sorry to hear your foster parents are dog shit. I would either run away if you have enough money to support yourself or turn them in to the proper authority. Scum like that makes this world a sad place. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.:thumbsup:
