How much do you make per hour?

Not to be a dick, but as I read through this, I'm realizing how little the majority of potheads will work for. I have a hard time getting by making roughly $70k a year (before tax) between my wife and I. Hell, I never have enough money to buy more than schwag. I'm seriously wondering just how do some of you guys live on that?

To me it shows most of the posters on this board are 1) in high school 2) in college working where they can or 3) of college age and at a point where they're trying to figure where they're going in life. I only make 9.83 an hour but I also get full medical and dental benefits, tuition reimbursement, and because I work in a school, I only have to work 10 months a year plus I get paid days off for any days the kids are off. I'm only 22 and I don't want to be doing what I do now for the rest of my life, but I don't feel bad about where I'm at.

I do have to say though that if the average poster were a 38 year old part-time mcdonald's worker living in her parents' basement, then I'd agree with you.

i make about 550 a week after taxes, health/vision/dental insurance, IRS payments...i'm on salary and never really work more than 40 hrs a week

I make the equilvalent of 21.50/hr, I get paid salary. It's pretty nice, considering I don't have to put much effort to be very productive :P

just got hired at this warehouse now I'm making 14$ an hour...

But i wanna be making more... I'm only 18. what do you think i should get into to make more $?

i make 10$ an hour plus commisions working for a tile company. Its tight i am either on the computer or showing peple shit its easy and the pay is good considering im 18 nd bout to go to college

Get into a utility. Everyone is always going to need and/or want things like lights, phones, cable, gas, water. The company may change hands and do other odd things (hopefully not 'Enron') but its usually a pretty steady employment situation...usually. That or public service...bus driver, subway conductor. Hell, if you want to make some SERIOUS moolah, you move down here and work offshore...oil rigs, research rigs, and the like. It's some hard work though.

i have 2 jobs.. 1 is wallmart stocking shelves this pays $10.35/hr.. and the other is at a golf course where i get free golf for the whole season if i come in 1 day a week.. the membership is $37,000 a year (club links)
