you want a bulb that looks like this one.. but it is actually 42 watts and 2600 lumes... it cost about 5-12 dollars depending on the HOME DEPOT..

sometimes the electric company will subsidize the bulbs and they will be $4.99 a piece.. if you see this offer you should buy as many bulbs as you can.

It may say on the package that the bulb is 150 watts... just look closely... 42 watts of CFL lighting is equivelant to 150 "regular" watts of lighting...

anyway, THIS is the light bulb you want... you want to keep these lights as close as possible (less than 1 inch) to your plants...
Once the plants have a couple nodes keep the light about 1/2 inch from your foilage... the key to success with CFLs is proximity!!!
