smoked for the first time the other night (im 21), didnt get high, but could feel things weren't quite right. smoked some weed out of a teapot made into a bong (i smoked with this girl who smokes once in a while and knows how to so i was doing everything right). apparently, it was pretty good stuff, because i told her to get the good shit so that i could feel it the first time (i knew i probably wouldnt). im just wondering how much it costs for a small bag normally (for the mid range stuff). im new to it and just get into it. any feedback/comments/questions/help would be appreciated.

$10-$20 will usually get you a gram in most areas which should give you enough for a few sessions. I didn't get high the first time either as is the case with most people. A couple more sessions and you'll probably feel it. Let us know and welcome to the board.

okay, it sounds like you did everything right except for one thing.. you thought about it a little too much, just that simple. your mind is a powerfull object capable of tricking you into the thought pattern of "i couldnt get high" most time's, first time users cant get high because they cannot identify the buzz, but think back to that night like what you did, (played cards for example) < the first time i ever put a joint to my mouth, i played cards thereafter. now, i didnt feel high, not at all. there were 6 of us at a friends house that she was housesitting all playing cards, and i wasnt that good at cards...sober. i swept the floor with all six of em! just because i was "high" but i couldnt feel it at all. $450, and i gave it to louie to get me an O of og kush.
maybe you felt more relaxed, warm, anxious, humble, or countless other emotions or feelings brought on by cannabis, but just couldnt put your finger on it, just keep tokin, and you'll recognize the "symptoms" soon enough :thumbsup: :smokin:
p.s. i waited till i was 19 to toke, so this sounded parallel to my first expierence with herb.

i did think about it, and i did my research before i tried it, but i dont think that had anything to do with it. ive been cocked out of my mind from alcohol, and i got somewhat high the first time i smoked a cigar. so, i have been in an altered state of mind before. as i said, i felt a bit different, but not stoned. when i closed my eyes i felt something, and once i stopped walking and just stood there for a few minutes things around me moved a bit slower/different.

Just try it a couple more times, I can get some pretty good skunk stuff 3.2 grams for 10 dollares. Also take a big hit and hold it in for around 13 seconds.
