I know that hps lamps are especially good for flowering because of their light-spectrum similarities to natural autumn light. the other lamps might radiate at places in the spectrum that are not typical of autumn light. they might not believe that winter is actually coming

This is my first grow, didn't want to waste money on good things & screw it up...which I currently seem to be doing. I have (6) 43w cfls & (1) 150w hps going on them. They're in 1 gal. pots in an organic based soil. No nutes at all throughout the entire grow. I did slip some epsom salt in for a couple feedings during veg. to help with yellowing leaves..problem solved. Do not know the strain, but most likely sativa's (thin Rating: 5
