depends on the size of your op. I only grow for myself and I find an open window and a fan are sufficient. bigger grow rooms are obviously more demanding and might need something more professional, but it definitely wouldn't hurt

I agree it does depend on how and how many you are growing. Plus your budget, I love mine but they cost me almost a grand each too. Not everyone can afford that. It's one of the last things most growers buy because of the expence.

One of the best on the market is the Cap extreme it controls everything in one unit.
