What's odd is that it's always in a mountain area, and theres always water below me... When i fall, i wake up... It's frightening Rating: 5

From everything I've ever read about dream interpretation, PureEvil certainly hit the nail on the head. You're feeling out of control somehow and like you may be at risk of something bad happening. If you've been stressed, that makes sense.

Hi Birdgirl, What PureEvil said is right off of Dream int. websites. They vary greatly tho, depending on their orientation. especially where it comes to number significance.

I reread his post, I realized that where I thought he was declaring weaknesses, It was just info from the source of information he got.

ok here goes......
theres a method that involves waking yourself from a dream state and realizing you are dreaming. the knowing you are dreaming or in astral form is key and without it you arent truly astral travelling. and no pot doesnt help in the least.
this method is a form of self hypnosis combined with a dream hook to help you
every night before you go to bed look at your hands and tell yourself that if you look at your hands in your dream then you will know you are dreaming
once you know you are dreaming you will have a spontaneous awakening and then be astral and be able to controll it
this method takes about 2 or 3 months of telling yourself every night
it will program you to do it
I am sure you can program yourself to do it every single night also
maybe change the words to something like " if I look at my hands in my dream I will realize I am dreaming and once I do realize I am dreaming I can do that in every dream from then on out"
but yeah do this EVERY night and be positive about it
be persistent and you WILL succeed

Sleep apnea dreams suck ass, I've had quite a few where I'm literally holding my breath and suffocating, and I can tell in my dream, so I struggle to get out of the dream and back into the real world (by this point i'm well aware that I'm dreaming), and often wake up gasping for air. I can't die from it, but they still suck ass.

I've had it once - I dreamt I was jumping off a waterfall and when I hit the bottom I was underwater for what felt like hours - I woke up panting for breath so damn hard it took about 30mins to get my heart rate back to normal. At the time I didn't know that it couldn't be fatal, so I didn't sleep for 3 days after that, I was scared that I might have the same dream and die...

Now I know different but like you said moeburn it still sucks.
