So, I've posted a few times on this subject before but I'll quickly rehash: I've recently taken a new job that may, or may not, do randoms. In the HR documents I signed it mentions they have the right to drug test me but there was no pre-employment screen and no mention of randoms in the document itself. Since I have no interest in stopping my occasional usage I've been researching ways to avoid getting snagged. After considering trying to get a prescription to Marinol, to mask my usage, I've decided to just plan on substitution if I ever do get tested. I'll just keep a fresh bottle of Quick Fix or a similar product on hand, around my house.

So, the question is: I've never worked for a company that drug tests. It's a standard corporate office environment (i.e. no CDL drivers, no inherit on-site safety risks with machinery, just a bunch of people in suits). In these types of situations do they send you to a lab or do they do the testing in-house (i.e. make you piss in a cup on the spot and mail it off to a lab later). I need to know if I have to keep the synthetic urine available for on the spot testing or whether I'll have time to drive past my house on the way to the lab?

So did you get tested in-house or was it scheduled at an outside lab?
