if the leaves are turning lighter green to yellow, you might have a nitrogen deficiency, which may be rectified by a simple compound comprised partly of your own urine. If you're using store-bought soil, there's usually enough nutrients to last 3 months. if it's cruder soil, you can add various things. the most important nutrients to the cannabis plant are nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium. do searches with keywords like that combined with words like cannabis to get tips from pros.

3 weeks is a good age to manually fertilize if the soil doesn't already have fertilizers. generally soil that's been used for 3 months is used up and needs new nutrients. again, I'm speaking of commercial soils. if you're using your own concoction or if it's outdoors, you should introduce the fertilzer slowly, with every 3rd watering or som starting in small quantities and gradually increasing (avoids burnage). just follow the instructions on the nutes
