You've known him for a month you've said? He may be a friend, but a month isnt really a long time to really know someone. Everyone has problems and we dont know this guy, but from what you've told us, he doesnt sound stable. Someone who threatens to kill you one day then is all giddy the next day, doesnt sound stable to me.

Alot of people are lost and confused, and i dont know, he may be a really nice guy just going through some shit.
