High! I have a question that i really have not been able to find out and its starting to concern me? I have 6 Mr,Nice SHIT babies that i germed in distilled water and and tissue in a plastic square box with top on top of my HD 400 light and they popped in 3 days and were 1/2 inch in a day and i put them in 1 inch r/w that i had been soakin in distilled water and 2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide for about 36 hours. I took the cubes and just shook the excess off i did not squeeze or anything and put them root down into a lil deeper hole in the cube. I have 2 inch baskets in my cloning box with a 45 compact flo and a TL-24 Mist Maker with a slight mixture of distilled water and GH 3way nutes 1/3 strength about 5.5 to 5.8 ph,
All is well BUT here is the question I have a exhaust fan Im leaving my compac flo on 24 /7 but I have not been able to find out what kind of misting times i should have?Now if i dont have any other source of water besides the mist maker the tops of the cubes get dry and thats a nono! I have groton in with my r/w in the basket i just use dist.water around the edges of the r/w to keep it damp at least! I am thinking about a air stone maybe for when the mister is not in use? Please i would like to save these babies because they really looked great when they popped.Can a old hand at this give me an idea about the mist makers hours?
I have 2 in my full size sunlite shed under a 250 compaq and they are in a water farm doing very well i went from a 1 in cube into a 4 inch cube and have my times set for flo for 1 hour on and then 2 off during my light cycle. At night i give them 30 mins 2 times. Im about ready to go to my HD 400 with a cooling reflector for my veggie cycle for the 2 in my big box.
