I don't know, I don't think kids should smoke anything, ya know? I mean, I know its an inevitability that kids are going to smoke weed, but if I can, I want to make sure my kids are at least 16 or 17 before they try it, if at all. I'd really want them to hold off until they're an adult.

You got the situation covered already, but I would have said "You really should wait until you're older because I don't think you're old enough to be able to understand fully what cannabis is and what it can do to you. Give yourself a couple more years to understand who YOU are better, as well. Then, if you still want to try it, I'll be right there with you and smoke some of my stuff with you."

NO. . . . You did'nt do the right thing in my opinion... My eldest son is only 13 years old, and i cringe at the thought of him even 'thinking about smokin ciggies at that age, never mind cannabis. . . . Instead of givin him herbs you should of sat him down and had a 'chat' about him been to young to start smoking anything. . . . And i know ya might say that maybe he would'nt of listen'd to ya, but damn it's better than giving him the stuff ya gave him, and way better than giving him actual cannabis. . . .

heres what you should do. tell him that alchoal can kill him because he's too young to handle it, so whever he has alchoal, he should give it to you.(that takes care of the alchoal problem) and tell him that weed can be laced with deadly shit, so he shold NEVER try to get weed from anybody except for you(that takes care of the weed problem) now its up to you if you want to give him weed or keep him from it.

You're doing the right thing but going about doing it the wrong way.

Don't give him a spice meddley. Try and talk to him about holding off until he's a bit older. Tell him you know from your own experience that it would be more beneficial for him to wait another year or so.

Another thing...I'm an only child so it may not work this way, but I'm assuming if he gets caught it will be both your asses.

I went to NYC and got shit faced... I went to Washington Square and got a nickle bag then I went to Steak&Ale and had a sizzling Sirloin and 2 pitchers of Ale... I then went to a bar and did a shot and some more beers... I got so drunk I missed the last bus out of the city and had to wait in Port Authority til morning... My mother got me a suede jacket for my birthday which got stolen by three punks who basically said"nice jacket,give it to us and we will let you go... Oh and I pissed my fucking pants cause I did not want to go into the PA bathroom and risk the fucking lunatics jumping me... This was all On my 13th birthday...


What I see is you ultimately got one of two choices here,stop smoking it yourself to set a proper example or tell your parents... You can't tell him not to do what you do,it don't work that way, regardless of age,all people are diff and some grow up way before their time!!!
