    i know...read the FAQ's and do a search

Hi everyone! Well i have read the FAQ's and done searches, but im still confused and have no simple answer's to my questions, so here it goes....please dont be irratated with me.

Have and outdoor plant (see pic) about 3 mo old. considering on bringing it inside into a hydro. We have CFL for our saltwater fish tank that we are thinking on using at night for the plant. the lights are 4 blubs - 32.5 watt each. 2 are Daylight 6700K/10000k the other 2 are Actinic, 1 420nm and 1 460nm. I dont know how to figure out the lumens that i keep reading about (tried a internet search too).

Will this set up work in a closet?

I guess thats it for now. Again I'm sorry but i'm just confused.

If you want to move it inside, how big is the space you are thinking about moving it into? I think you should have about 2000-3000 lumens per square foot. The light bulb package should tell you how many lumens the light gives out.

Leave her outside unless you are afraid of theft or some
Law enforcement agency finding out what you have outside.
As i have been preaching about today why get so complicated
especially if you are a novice grower.

Thanks Yabatab. Because my hubby want to move he/she in to be bushier. You really think its a her? that'd be soooooooooooo cool! Now if we let her outside, we dont want her getting tall. I was reading about the cropping or bending. It said to crop at the 4th -5th node early on? Is that now? Do i just chop off the top that doesnt seem very nice. God i sound like a moron! And the being.....never got a full explaination on this either. Can we tell that i'm a better 1-1 learner than a group learner....lol

Ok well thank you everyone for their advice!

I cannot tell you if it is male or female from those pics plus
I don't believe it has sexed yet. If you top it will become bushy
two dominate branches will grow out from the level you top.
You can also train a plant to grow about any direction you want
it to. I have seen plants tied to the ground and grow along the
surface of the soil. Tying branches to grow where you want
them to is an option. Id say you do not want it to grow so
tall that it is at the top of the fence right?
I say leave the plant alone it already looks happy where it
is. An environment change could also stress the plant.

If you don't want it to get tall just tie it down or top it.
