Flowering ventalation for dark period.

Im getting ready to start flowering but I have not gotten the proper vent setup yet. I have a closet space 3wide 6 tall 6 long. I am hoping to end up with 6-8 females out of 16 bag seed plants half sativa half skunk. for now it would be much easier to seal the door in the 12 dark period but I wont have any ventalation. OK the question is do the flowering plants need oxygen during the 12 dark period. Thanks

It helps yes, but if you have a fan moving the air around the plants at all times you could get by untill you get the air intake and exhaust installed.

Don't forget odor control

Thanks I wll for sure need oder control. One plant is bushy and only 1 foot tall it smells skunky already.

hey mad53, i think they plants would be fine wit the air thats in there for the dark period, then just open it a couple times a day for fesh air.........whats a cheap way to handle odor control? i saw ozone thing for like $100, dont know too much about carbon scrubbers....thanks

You can get away with it... IT IS CRITICAL TO HAVE ADEQUATE CO2 AND VENTILATION DURING THE LIGHT PERIOD...

Ventilation and air flow are not only critical for bringing in concstant c02 but also for temperature and light proximity to foilage... an HID light 12 inches from your plants will produce TWICE as much bud as a light 24 inches from your plants... more ventilation allows the lights to be closer to the plants
