there's an article in this month's high times called "grow sweeter buds" I didn't get to read it, but my stoned friend was reading it and I was like "man, how do you do it?" and he was like "put sugar in the soil..." so whether or not that's what the article says, I have no idea....but let me know if you find out

I would think that it is possible to affect the taste of bud, but I imagine its very different. I know that in South Africa most of the 'indigenous peoples' throw their bong water on their plants, and they say that it makes the taste more bitter, but the weed is stronger. I'm not a grower, so I can't lay any claim to this.

I think if you try asking in the growers section you might get better results. Good luck.

soil and conditions affect taste... Why do we here in New Jersey have the best tasting tomato's??? Soil and Condition!!! If I use cow manure on one tomtato plant and horse manure on another of the same variety tomato,they taste different...

I don't know how sugar running through the veins of a pot plant will affect the growth,but it is water soluable and will affect the taste fur sure...
