But never getting laid in a star wrs costume?
I think it was a REvenge Of the Nerds movie where the guys lays the hot chick dresssed as Darth vader.

Apparently, the religion thing was about a database on the net where you list your own religion that people sign their faith to and if it gets a high number of hits then it becomes official. Someone put jedi up on there and thousands of people signed it
, still didn't become a religion mind.
Star Wars is bollocks

Well when i was like 14 i used to go dressed up as anime characters to Comic Conventions and it was pretty fun WHEN I WAS A KID. so long to those days now. And your theory its damn wrong man, i do get laid. The silmarilion its my favourite book years before LOTR trilogy came.
I Love J.R.R. Tolkien and you can't tell either me or the Trekkies out there to live their lives as you would like them to. Imagine someone came and tell you: "OMFG, you waste totally your life by smoking pot sometimes a month! You're such a loser! Youre never gonna get laid in your life!"
Sorry mate but it sound like youre some sort of prejudice fellow.

Wow I can't believe nobody has brought up Everquest. These fans are so nuts, they live their lives in an online world! There are people who devote their lives to playing and advancing a fictional character. That's what I have against video games really. I mean they are fun, but after you beat a game, you feel like you have accomplished something. But what have you really accomplished? Have you imporved yourself? It doesn't amount to much in reality. Not against games really, but to make them your life is nuts if you think about it.

I agree. Even though I don't understand how people can get into these things so much that they would dress up and wait in line for hours, the point is that they are not hurting anyone. They're doing something they enjoy and not harming a thing in the process. What's wrong with that? I'm sorry that you don't agree with their lifestyle, but like High phy said, there's probably a ton of people who would think you are a loser for what you do in your life.

I agree with smokey and High phy...who the hell are we to judge other people...and after all. don't we all smoke to escape the real world in some or other way...leave the people be and rather concentrate on your own way of life and the ones close to you...peace
