Star Wars vs LOTR
Which fans are bigger nerds? I was leaning to lord of the rings, but on tuesday night i saw a bunch of star wars fans/virgins lined up outside HMV waiting to buy the DVD set. Now never mind that you could go into any store the next day and buy the thing with no line up, thats fucked up, but ok. The thing was seeing these nerds in person. There is no excuse for dressing like your favourite character just because the DVD is coming out. There was one guy about 35 wearing a star wars shirt that might have fit him in 1980 but now was so small that it looked sick around his pot belly. Its obvious he was saving it and only wearing it for special occasions. Do these people have a closet of costumes they bust out on halloween? It isnt a fetish or anything, most of them were clearly afraid of girls.
I am sorry, but if you have a costume of say a storm trooper or darth vader in your closet, you are never, ever, going to get laid. It reminds me of the people who line up a month b4 the movie phantom menace comes out to be the 1st to see it. Who cares? That movie sucked. You wasted a month of your life. So go home curl up in your star wars bedsheets, its more chicks for me.rufusthestuntbum Reviewed by rufusthestuntbum on . Star Wars vs LOTR Which fans are bigger nerds? what about that guy who saw (one of the new ones ) the movie in new york and caught a flight to somewhere in europe, just so he could say he was the first to see it on 2 continents. what a waste of a plane ride, u already saw the fuckin' movie once, i could think of a lot better ways to spend a trip to europe (amsterdam anyone?), i mean who the fuck cares where u saw the movie, it was the same shitty movie here as well as there.
but ya i dont understand the whole dressing up thing, not even for a football game (for either of them). but hey different strokes for different folks, i guess.
ladies, would u date a guy dressed as a stormtrooper? I would hope u would hold out for a jedi knight, or at least a bubba fett..

To all sci-fi/fantasy nerds: IT'S FICTION! We are here, now. The world is currently in a very dire state of events, and you're obsessing over the details of a story some Hollywood writers put together to make money? Focus on the present, the here and now, the real world. Nobody ever made the history books for having watched Star Wars more times than anybody else. In fact, they probably died of morbid obesity.

LoL
yeah, the hardcore trekkies and star wars fans are freakin losers with no lives. I enjoy the movies and I used to watch star trek, but i don't pray to idols of the emporer or shatner =oP those freaks that get all dressed up for the lord of the rings are losers too and should be lined up and executed publicly. Its as bad as the catholic church...

i agree i mean i love star wars im not gonna be one of those people tho, but im not gonna make fun of them or call them losers with no lives either, just because they do somethin different then you think is a life makes them have no lives? because ya ok so their life consists of doing stuff like that so what its still a life? and i remeber how being shy around girls was i think everyone at one point or another was like that, its ppl like you that just makes them lose more confidence in themselves sorry i hate the world and its hatred
