variegated leaves or mineral deficiency?
Hey all, I've got this wierd plant that I have in the greenhouse and for some reason almost all of the leaves are like half white on one side of the leaflet and then dark green on the other side, wierd no? The plant appears healthy, normal structure of the leaves, no obvious health problems aside from the cruella deville leaves. So, any ideas? I think I'll let it go and do it's thang but I'd like to know if it's a nute problem or something. I'm guessing it's either some wierd genetic thing (prob not) or a mineral deficiency.
Peace, love, and firepower!!

I have a cutting like that. It seams to be growing out if it though. I have no idea what caused it but i think i will just let it do its own thing and see what happenes.

I thought mine would too.. but apparently not, one of the branches is completely green though, so i can pretty much rule out nutrients (although as u can tell, they're in some nitrogen rich soil...)

"Variegated leaves or mineral deficiency"-
BOTH.
You've got partial albinism, VERY COOL in my opinion, combined with cupping and curling.
I'm going to take a stab at it and say molybdenum def.
Make sure your girls are getting their micronutrients and that the soil pH isn't out of range.\"Careful what you carry- \'cause the Man is wise- you are still an outlaw in their eyes\" -Steely Dan

variegated leaves or mineral deficiency?
All i've got for micronutes is some glacier rock dust and normal organic fertilizer, anything i could add?
I'm leaving at the end of the year to amsterdam, which means that this rare genetic freak is essentially out of the gene pool unless i can find someone to raise her. Any ideas?

If you have a growshop nearby, there are supplements that are strictly micronute additives.
If not, any garden store should carry SOMETHING that includes micronutes! Even the lawn ferts I picked up at WalMart have them.\"Careful what you carry- \'cause the Man is wise- you are still an outlaw in their eyes\" -Steely Dan
