Eh, after a while you just ignore the negative comments. It makes you a lot happier in the end. I grew up in a small town kinda near dallas, so I know what you mean though. I think you have to get permits to burn now in texas, though, but I haven't been back since I was a child, so I wouldn't really know.

By the way, your tree still has my jaw unhinged. I have no doubt in my mind that you are so lucky that, if you were to touch a blind man's eyes, he would be able to see... and possibly talk to marine life as well.
