    Pics and Questions

Hey These are some pics of stuff I found (in my cornfield) in september 2005 I just posted them so that people wouldn't get mad about my question haha. My question is I have some plants that are growing outside right in the ground and I was wondering If I decide to top them when would be a good time to do it. They probably won't start to flower till august sometime due to the natural light cycle. The largest one is 2 feet tall now but will probably at least double (or triple) in height. They are just from bagseed so unknown strains. Anyone with any knowledge of when to top them wwould be much appreciated. thanks!

i top as soon as i have all the nodes i want to become main branches

id do it now and scrog it till then

youll get a shitload more than what you have in the pic if you scrog an outdoor plant

If you have the time, you could top now, tie the top down so its in a U shape and start training the new main branches for scrog:thumbsup:

Scrog is a method of training a plant to expose the maximum area to the light. Instead of growing tall, you tie it to a horizontal trellis to grow WIDE.

You can also instead of topping bend the main stem over and let it grow horizontally. This is least stressful to the plant, and exposes lots of potential bud sites to the light. Just pin it down with garden twine.

Training is a must for a succesful yeald. It is amazing how much beneficial it can be to the lower bud sites. You really boost the overall harvest.
