Bong or Bubbler..??

That bubbler was about 80$. yeah it's expensive but it's really cool. It might be just what you're looking for because it works like a bong but its a lot smaller and a lot more protable. we took it back in the woods this one time and just sat on a log and blazed. A bong will give you bigger hits tho.

Alright, thanks for the info! I think i am going to go with a bubbler instead of a bong. Bongs are more for home use. I smoke outside of my house too many times to get a big bong. Bubbler sounds like its just what i need Hopefully i can get one that's good for around $50. That's how much i'm planning on paying for one.

A question though, on this site [www.freakys.com] they label what looks like a bubbler as an "ash catcher" are these two different things or is an "ash catcher" just another name for a bubbler? That had me slightly confused.

an ash catcher is a pre-bubbler for bongs (or any slide bowl piece) it keeps the water clean and makes the smoke much thicker so you get fatter hits. i have a glass on glass bubbler and i got an ashcatcher for it.

How does it make the smoke much thicker? I don't see the logistics behind that.

I have a bong and a bubbler, needless to say i never use my bubbler anymore.

you could just but a new slide for about 4 bucks. Personally tho I use bongs when I dont have any good weed to smoke. I think they burn to fast. Bubblers are nice but expensive....
