Started out at 4:20 Am smoked a blunt
then drove from Mn to Mo smokin j's the hole way
then got to Fort Leanord Wood Mo.
Picked up my buddie
Drove to Bonnaroo smokin j's the hole way
Now i have been in the car for 15+ hours so im ripped as hell
we get there drive right in (Woooo whooooo)
we got all kinds of illeagle shit in...beers, fireworks, nugs, snow, all kinds bongs
we pitch our tent and guess who pulls up...3 lesb. Fuckin SWEEEET 3 hot lesb tenting right next to us (Hmm this isnt my tent whooops )
hit up some sweet music the next few days (Tom petty, Beck, Radiohead, Atmoshper, Umphrys mcgeee....all kinds of shit)
packed up and left monday at noon
Got lost in Down Town Nashville...parked the car and walked around down town smokin a blunt trying to ask ppl how to get back onto the right hwy. (no one new)
So we get back to our car, and take the first off ramp to get onto a hwy. and it leads us right to our road.....FUCKIN SWEEEET
so blah blah we get back to Mo. i drop his ass off and i drive home
i get back at 5 Am and i only fell asleep 2 times on the road

Gas - $22 for ride home with friend with a truck
Bus - $86 round trip (but returned with friend)
Shuttle Bus - $50
Tickets - $0 (friend bought mine to pay me back for Phish 1998 in NYC)
Nugs - $0 (grew my own)

Taxi from bus station to airport - $25

For those of you that went, how was the police presence there?

At Wakarusa, cops were fucking everywhere, hassling anyone and everyone for no reason. They seriously had night-vision goggles, hiding up in the trees. And most of the arrests were either for underage drinking or some small amount of weed. I was just curious if things were similar there, though I doubt they were.

And how was Umhprey's? I bet they rocked so hard.

im glad yall had a great time, i live 2 hrs away from bonnaroo and hopefully will go one year, damn tickets are too fukn high though!

Police presence was negligible once you entered the campgrounds. In fact, I'm not sure I saw even one cop anywhere except out on the roads coming in and going out, and even then there weren't that many. A friend did get his mushroom chocolate taken away at the entrance to Centeroo by the security guys, but it wasn't because it was drugs, it was because they didn't want you bringing your own food in.

I hear Wakarusa was bad with the cops. I suspect that the Bonnaroo administrators grease the correct palms so there aren't many problems with the local cops.
