You're in the wrong forum. Go to the growing FAQs.
Use a fine seed startin gmix, not Miracle Grow. Plant them with the small shoot pointing down, about 1/2 cm deep.

I don\'t claim to know the first thing about growing anything; hell, I can\'t make a Chia pet sprout.

Dont use MG soil OR MG nutes unless you want your plant to die. You can plant in a small 4" pot to start with, or if youre a first time grower (which I highly suspect) then plant straight away into AT LEAST an 8" pot. This saves transplanting. Unless you have a shitload of lights and space, start flowering when theyre a foot high because they DO stretch to twice or even three times their height during flowering. Please dont use a 'regular' light bulb either, and if you cant get more than 7,000 lumens per plant, then dont even bother using the lights - youll get much better results planting them outside. If you plant them outside, just dig a hole 2 foot deep and 2 foot wide and fill it with a mix of decent soil and perlite. Youll end up with somewhere between 4 and 16 ounces per plant outdoors.
