Never seen this before, is it a problem? can you help?
have noticed this on one of my plants outdoors. not sure what might have caused it. it has been windy for a while. i think might have snapped off then brused it in some way. the plant and branches are fine. but it is getting worse. have you seen this happen before? thanks for your help

looks like something was eating your stems(maybe wrong, just my first thought). Also looks like some mold growing on the damaged area, nice plants.

psymin.. hi there..
i never thought I'd say this.. but those pictures are to big.. LOL
question...
Is it always on the lower branches?
How many plants are infected or have this problem?
Does it look like rot to you? or something ate the branch...?
Is it moist at the break?
I would guess it is rot of some sort? possibly induced by a predator or weather...
What state are you in?
cheers

not good at all, it appears that the lower stem is rotting!! um.. shit i don't know what to do for that, i've never seen it, try using some magnesium... maybe? maybe some dolomite lime?
I'd say take a bunch of clones if u wanna save her, but if the branches coming from the nasty part are looking fine.. i'd leave it.. but if the leaves start wilting or anything happens, def chop and clone, that really blows bro

yeah it's only on the lower part of one plant. never seen it before tho. gonna go up today and check see if it has got worse. looks allot like a bruise tho. if it does get worse i will clone. thats the problem with growing outdoors you have no power of the environment. i will keep this post updated with info on whats happening and if i do manage to keep the plant allive after this. could be of some help to some one one day. will post some pics later on today of the others.
thanks for the help
