well the temps in my room with the door closed is still 88-93 and that is not what i want... id like to have a consistant temp of about 82 give or take 2 degrees or so. i plan on putting a passive vent into the side of the cabinet with a fart fan but will it be enough for the temps to get that low??? also annother thing that occured to me is that the intake for the cool tube is actually pretty close to the outtake for the cool tube... theyre about a foot or 2 apart. im pretty shure this is why its so dam hot in there but theres not really much of an option... just to remind you the fans i have are 250 cfm's and my box is like 3x5x3. there are 2 of these fans connected to the cool tube. is this even enough air being moved for this method to work or do i need more??? and would adding annother intake, other than the passive one i plan on putting in, and pointing that straight at the cool tube help significantly enough for it to be worth it? thanks for all your help so far.:thumbsup:

Cool Tube Probs ok well i made my first cool tube (400 watt hps) and it looks pretty good and it works pretty well but the temps in my grow room are going 90+. the cooltube is connected to a hard 4 in duct connected to a 250 cfm in duct fan and then a soft duct that goes out of my cab. same set up for the intake except the soft duct is the intake and the hard duct is the outtake. i also have a fart fan pointing at my balast to try to keep that cool.
