For some reason I saw the sentence "I ride one to and from work every day." before I saw the sentence "Trains are the beez kneez buddy." and I thought you were talking about dildoes hahahahaha.

I like trains. I like fr8 trains, and commuter trains, and subways. In fact there are thousands of rail fans out there. Simple trainspotters are mere rookies. I like getting a free ride on a freight, or going into the yard where i am not supposed to be. Both will get you killed however, and since osama is always blowing shit up, its gotten harder to get near to trains. Especially if you want to paint them .

my oldboy was a bit of a trainy in the 70's. he id go out with him when the old steam trains were coming by.
i love riding them , but then again im a public transport fan coz i dont have to pay much, or maintain it and i can ride it as fucked as i wanna.
they are boring though. dads got videos of em chugging past etc.he's even got a record of train sounds. chug, chug etc. now thats boring. he goes-"listen to how they change as they crest the grade" etc.lol
good thing was i learnt how to take photos as a little kid on an SLR and he had a hell trainset that was endless fun and not boring at all.
ive got a son and have watched my fair share of thomas the tank engine.
