Hello,

I completely understand what you are saying. The reasoning behind me saying soil first, is because (the way I see it) it is easy for an absolute beginner to cultivation to become overwhelmed in the day to day process of growing when trying to keep 10 DWC buckets going with out any major messups.

Soil just seems safer to me. However I do agree with you as far as hydro being a ton cleaner than soil, plants do grow faster, and you do have a ton more control over your plants, at your fingertips.

On a bit of a sidenote, what type of system do you recommend to use for hydro beginners. I have ran a good share of buckets and am more than willing to try out some hydro again. I would love any input you would care to share on this subject.

the12evised - If you are interested in going the hydro route instead of soil I would be willing to do a "virtual side by side" type grow with you in a new thread. Just let me know if you are interested.

Thanks for peaking my interests notanovice.

Peace.
