    Watering during Flowering

Hey .. how's everybody doing...i gotta quick question for all you experts. I have 2 girls...(actually 1 girl, 1 he/she)....but anyway, they're 3 1/2 weeks into flowering and i'm finding that they're drinking sooooo much more water than before. For instance, I watered both of them on Monday 4 cups of water each, and today just 2 days later, when i got home, they were drooping from how thirsty they were. I know they were thirsty and not over watered because i have a water meter, and it was reading SUPER DRY!....LOL

    Anyone else experience this?

    Watering during Flowering

    Hi roadster

sounds about right... you should consider watering them with 8 cups each and allow them to sit in the tray with the excess water.. usually they will drink up the excess in less than a few hours...

    cheers

    Watering during Flowering

Thanks guys....i had thought about over watering them a little bit and letting them sit in a bit of water, but i thought that was bad for it. Or is it that you shouldnt JUST water from the tray and let them sip it up. I do have to say though....this is my first grow, and it seems like bud is growing from EVERYWHERE.....and now the white hairs are starting to turn brown.....thats a good thing right?

    Watering during Flowering

    Hi MR. ROAD,
If your soil is dry and you have a proper soil mixture and adequate drainage.. which i am guessing you do... you will be fine watering the plant with as much water as you want.. in a single watering...

    by this I mean...
It is important to saturate your soil with EACH watering.. over watering usually occurs because of Frequency.. not Quanity.. so water as much as you want. and then let your soil dry out almost all the way (dont let the plants droop)..

Many people will use the dip stick method... stick your finger in the soil.. if the top 2-3 inches are dry.. and your pot feels light.. then you water...
