How to clean out dirty hash

Imagine there's a bar of hash that is obviously laced with nasty things because it causes a headache to users

Is there anyway to clean the nasty elements out of hash so that just the valuable THC is left?

soak it in rubbing alcohol and try the hash oil approach maybe?
