Indica/Sativa high differences...

Hello everyone! I'm still new here so I'm guessing this question has been asked before, but I'll ask anyway

Growing up as a teenager I was stoned most of the time. I lived on a small Indian reservation in northern Wisconsin (we were pretty much the only white family) and my father was the biggest weed dealer in the county. Needless to say I never had to do without. Plus, my father allowed me to smoke weed. God forbid I took a drink of alcohol though or I'd be grounded for a month. No joke. His mother was Indian (from a totally different tribe) and she died of alcoholism.

Anyway, to my story. I stopped smoking weed when I was 22 or so, when I became pregnant with my first child. Stopped ALL drugs, cigs, etc. Now that my children are older and I'm in my mid 30's I'm feeling the urge to smoke some weed every now and again. I'm sitting on about half an ounce of really wonderful bud that I've had for about 2 years, not smoking it much. The reason is that the high is way too intense and cerebral. I know I haven't any tolerance for weed these days but I'm not kidding when I say that about 3 hits of it is enough to knock you on your ass. And not in a fun "omg i'm sooo stoned lets find the box of cookies" high. It's sort of a negative high where I'm thinking too much of past negative crap while I'm stoned.

Reading more about the difference in highs between Indica and Sativa, I have to ask, is there really much of a difference and what would someone recommend for me as more of a body buzz with a pleasant mind high, as opposed to something way too strong for my noob ass. I have no idea what kind of strain I have is, but the smell is wonderful, when I got it, it was still a bet damp so I'm guessing it wasn't dried all the way, it's nice and dry now of course, kept in a dark, cool closet for all this time. It's still extremely potent. I hate to waste the stuff but I really want a happy high! lol

bake it in some brownies and then go shoot arrows from your bow at fake buffalo targets while riding horse back. All that distraction will insure you dont think about any past negative crap.

haha i wouldnt hurt my cats. Although one of them keeps shitting in a certain area of my medicinal herb garden area and its pissing me off.

Indica's give more of a body stone, where you may get sleepy, feel extremely relaxed and blissfull, and just peaceful.
Sativa's will make you silly, more of a trippy, "woaahh..." high, more of a mind high.

Most people have their favorites, but alot of people prefer a cross of the two, so they get the highs from both of the strains. Most weed available today is a cross between the two.

Also, sativas are generally lighter green in color, as the plant uses less chlorophil, and tend to have a fruity, sweet, smell.

Indicas on the other hand are usually dark green, and smell VERY skunky.

It seems, from what you described, that you have a sativa predominant strain, but I may be wrong.

But, it looks like you'd like a nice indica.

Yes-I agree with Horror Business :thumbsup: -Sativa is more of a head high where Indinca will make you zone out somewhat.

Mexican weed maybe more to your liking.

I don't know about mexican weed though... In my experience, usually it's sativa dominant, due to the warm weather and stuff down there.

Also, if you eat your weed, the high will be more of a body type high, no matter what strain it is, although it still can be pretty fucking intence.

hmmm i cant call it as far as what strain u got but i would suggest that u stick to green thats fiya but goes down smooth like mid or zona. . . . those wont fuck u up like what u got
