advice on my new hydro set up plz

I have a few questions to ask:

1.CAN I TAKE A PLANT OUT OF SOIL AND PLANT IT IN MY HYDRO SET UP,IS THAT HOW ITS DONE?

2.HOW DO I TELL THE SEX DIFFERENCE?

3.WILL MY SET UP BE OK IN A CUPBOARD,ENOUGH AIR?

1 No you cant take plant out of soil, then put them in a hydro setup.You have to start the seeds in rockwool or Jiffipellets,then transplant to larger rockwool cube 3-4".Then from there transplant to hydro set up.
2 To tell the sex you have to cut the light to 12/12, 12hours light 12hours dark.Then after 14 or so days they will start to show there sex.Males have little balls,and females have white hairs pistals.
3Many people, have had great results from cupboard grows.What r the dimensions of your cupboard?.What light do you wish to use?.
